Mountain view

Today Edna's friend Maria & I dropped Aliana off at her grandparents for a couple of hours.  Maria took me for a tour of downtown El Paso & we also went up to a lookout on the mountains. 

 

We saw this house with the crazy cool trees on the way up the mountain

 

Beyond the trees in the middle is Juarez, Mexico

 

On the bridge you can see all the cars that are crossing either to Mexico or coming to the US.

 

The words on the mountain say "The Bible is the truth".

I was hoping that I would get to see the cool tall cacti but I guess that you don't see them until you get to Arizona. 

Ice cream cake & Clark Griswold shoes

Shayne picked up this really good ice cream cake for my birthday last week.

 

We also went to an outlet mall & Shayne found these shoes that reminded us of Clark Griswold from the National Lampoon's Vacation movies.  We embarrassed Edna by trying them on & taking a picture.  :)

El Paso

I arrived at Shayne & Edna's Sunday night after a long 2 days of driving.  Sunday was the prettiest driving day by a lot.  Nebraska is incredibly boring!!  I won't be posting any pictures of Aliana on here but here are some of my trip down.
